Surge Screen Printing and Embroidery is pleased to announce the purchase of assets of Thread & Ink Embroidery and Screen Printing in Richmond, KY.

Thread and Ink was established as Purdy Embroidery, LLC in 2011 by the Purdy family, local heroes of the great Purdy’s Coffee brand. The assets of Purdy Embroidery were sold to Trent Funk in 2019 and rebranded as Thread and Ink. Purdy Embroidery and Thread and Ink have supplied Richmond and Central Kentucky with high quality embroidered and screen printed apparel with outstanding customer service.

For the Thread & Ink customer, be assured that your order information and design files have been transferred to the Surge sales and art teams and we are ready to assist you in reordering any apparel you’ve previously produced with Thread & Ink or Purdy Embroidery.
